Vowels are very 1994 anyway.

I never really got into AFI, although they do a pretty on-point cover of Misfits' Last Caress, but a bunch of my friends at the time were all about AFI. Then, the band got all pop-electro and my friends were over it.

Well, if you are one of those friends, you might be excited to know that frontman Davey Havok and guitarist Jade Puget have started a new straight edge hardcore band called XTRMST. Vowels are very 1994 anyway. It's very much like old AFI, since AFI doesn't sound like old AFI. I actually dig the music though:
