Kylesa is dropping Exhausting Fire on Season Of Mist come October 2 and this new song has pretty much sold me on the whole record. "Shaping The Southern Sky" has a very groovy, dirty swing to it that's accentuated by fuzzy guitars and a very present bass. All of which is grounded by rock-solid drums, of course, but what I'm getting at here is that this song is a fucking rock song with unshakable conviction.
Go ahead and jam this one as loud as you can. Nobody can resist its charms!
