More instru-metal prog for your ears.

More instru-metal prog for your ears.

Update: An earlier version of this post indicated that Dream Theater drummer Mike Mangini is still playing with Into The Great Divide. We have been informed that is not true. Mike played a few tracks but is not playing on these new tracks, and neither is Dream Theater. We apologize for the error.  Here is the original story, corrected:

Into The Great Divide, from the mind of multi-instrumentalist Zack Zalon is about one year out from releasing its debut record. They're also releasing a brand new one called A Life In Six Acts on May 31 because clearly brilliance never sleeps.

Into The Great Divide is streaming their new song "Arrival" right now alongside a bit of an explanation about the track and album.

Today marks the first track release from the new album A Life In Six Acts. The album itself uses music to capture the progression of life, each track representing that specific aspect of our journey. Six overall segments, all instrumental prog metal.

The first track drops today: "Arrival". Setting the tone for the journey, "Arrival" is all about entry, slamming into existence.
