Canadian black metal duo, Gevurah, is responsible for one of the most-anticipated debut albums that will arrive in 2016. Made up of members X.T. and A.L., Gevurah released a crushing EP back in 2013 entitled Necheshirion and a two-song demo, Dialogue of Broken Stars, that put them on notice for much of the underground metal community and coincidentally Profound Lore Records. The prominent underground label will be releasing the band's debut full-length album, Hallelujah!, on June 3.
In what has been described as grandiose and spiritual black metal, Gevurah's debut is "…a seven-step spiritual journey of Alchemical transformation, through the death and rebirth of the Self as a pure entity of praise, a vessel for the powers beyond. It is an exhalation of worship, a humbling vow of unwavering devotion to the Lord of unbound Light.” To add to the excitement of the announcement, the song "Temple Without Form" was released to give everyone a look into what Hallelujah! will potentially sound like. Check out the track below and keep an eye out for its impending release!
