Video Nasties will release their new album Dominion on March 13. If you're a fan of horror flicks, John Carpenter soundtracks, and everything-shredding death n' roll with black metal vocals, then you're going to love this. Seriously, it's a little unbelievable that a band is cranked up to 10 at all times like Video Nasties.

"We’re extremely excited to have Metal Injection streaming Dominion for us in the run up to its release," said bassist Rick Owen. "The response to Drone Eagle and Hanging Tree has been phenomenal and the support so far has surpassed our expectations tenfold. We’ve put a lot of blood, sweat and tears in to this release and now it’s time to party so join us on this thrill ride and to avoid fainting keep repeating, it’s only an album… only an album… only an album."

Video Nasties also explains the John Carpenter influence.

"There’s a lot of John Carpenter worship on Dominion. All of his scores are amazing. We tried to capture that same 80s Carpenter vibe with a lot of the melodies on the album. If you imagine taking Sepultura, Carcass and Entombed as main influence and then lacing it with the hooks of John Carpenter, The Cure, The Cult… Killing Joke etc. even through to the likes of Dead Kennedys and T.S.O.L. Big post punk, goth, rock influences in there."
