Detach The Islands will release their debut album The Burden To Become Fact on July 5, and we're streaming the whole damn thing right now. The record is an excellent blend of New York hardcore with a lot of interesting, almost progressive tendencies, that makes for an interesting listen that'll also make you want to punch someone.

However this record ends up being viewed, I'm proud of it. It's the first one where I've been at the helm of every single step and seen it through from start to finish. I'm so grateful to everyone who has been involved in making TBTBF come to life and none of this would have been done without them: Jay, Siddhu, Eric, Ashley, Dominic, and yourself of course to name a few. I'm excited to see how things shake out and to see how people take to hardcore done this way. Here we come world!
