Alaskan Tapes is now streaming its new EP Know/Soon featuring vocalist by The Contortionist's own Michael Lessard and Leprous' live cellist and keyboardist Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The project classifies the two songs as "ambient folk inspired tracks" that feel perfect for headphones listening, especially if it's rainier weather wherever you are. And given some of Lessard's solo stuff, it's not really surprising he's on this (or that he's so good at it).
Download Know/Soon here. As for what Lessard has been up to, there might be new Last Chance To Reason on the horizon at some point. The Contortionist played two of their records in full throughout 2021 via two separate livestreams, but haven't said anything about new music yet.
