Justin K. Broadrick strikes again, but softer.
Justin K. Broadrick's industrial shoegaze project Jesu has silently returned with a brand new record called Pity/Piety. The record consists of two tracks – "Pity" and "Piety" – both of which clock in at over 17 minutes each. You can stream it below alongside the equally gloomy album artwork created by photographer Marek Studzinski.
Pity/Piety is available here. No comment is available from Broadrick other than "Frail hymns at the altar of self defeat…" in the description of the album.
The new EP Never is out digitally on July 1.
