SPECTRAL VOICE & ANHEDONIST Just Released A Crushing New Split

Surprise! It rules.

Spectral Voice

Surprise! Anhedonist and Spectral Voice have just released a brand new split 7" and you can stream both songs below. Unfortunately Anhedonist still remains very much broken up, but Spectral Voice is going strong off their 2017 debut album Eroded Corridors of Unbeing.

Anhedonist was a Death/Doom band from Seattle, Washington active from 2008–2014. “Abject Darkness” was recorded during the same session as their only album, Netherwards, in the Winter of 2011. Initially slated to appear on an aborted split EP with Knelt Rote, this release sees the band’s last recorded monument to pain finally erected. R.I.P.

The Spectral Voice returns once more with utter Black/Doom. Recorded in the Winter of 2019, the first new song after recording their debut album sees them fall further into the abyss. “Ineffable Winds” unites the primitive, stripped down approach of Necrotic Doom with the expansive pathways to gloom opened by Eroded Corridors of Unbeing.
