SADISTIC RITUAL See A World of Demise and Deadly Thrash Through the Visionaire of Death

Sadistic Ritual

With a dying wail and a fiery stream of riffs, Sadistic Ritual unleashes Visionaire of Death. The opening title track to the Georgia thrash band’s official debut full-length immediately sets a fervent tone: classic thrash fixated on death and destruction. Though this is the band’s first true full-length record, Sadistic Ritual has held their own in the humid, Atlanta heat for well over a decade.

Charlie Southern (vocals/guitar) has been the foundation and sole original member of Sadistic Ritual. His vision for the band makes them a mainstay in the Atlanta metal scene and, given the fury of Visionaire of Death, a prime candidate for national acclaim. Sadistic Ritual channels the best parts of Sodom and Kreator and spins them into a caustic medley of blistering riffs and memorable hooks that would knock even Dave Mustaine on his back.

To the neck-snapping stomp of “Double Crossed” and “Merciless Retribution” to the scintillating licks of the title track or “Executioner,” Southern and company deliver nostalgic, eighties-esque metal through a lens of psychedelic visions and mounds of skulls. Southern spoke to Metal Injection about the impending release of Visionaire of Death saying, "Anticipation is high as we anxiously await the final days to end before the Visionaire of Death ritual is released upon society. Prepare yourself for nearly 38 minutes of mind obliterating thrash metal. This is our praise to our inevitable fate. A projection of fury and disdain from four death worshipers of Atlanta, Georgia, and only the beginning of what is to become of Sadistic Ritual's vision."

Visionaire of Death officially arrives tomorrow through Boris Records and Unspeakable Axe Records. Listen to an exclusive stream of the album now. Sadistic Ritual will be playing an album release show tomorrow as well at The Earl in Atlanta where they will play their new album in its entirety.
