Oregon technical death crushers Omnihility have slowly but surely worked there way up from small labels since their inception in 2009, to signing with Unique Leader and then releasing their best release thusfar, Deathscapes Of The Subconscious, in 2014. That record really got the band a lot more fans and showed quite an evolution for the band. Now they are set to drop their newest record, Dominion Of Misery, this Friday, February 26th through Unique Leader Records. And we've got the early stream of it below for you to get sucked into.
Part of Omnihility's sound has always revolved around their love affair with old-school death metal riffing within a technical death metal setting, yet at the same time it seems they continue to push into more and more technical territory with each release. Obvious nods to Origin were apparent in some places of Deathscapes Of The Subconscious, but the old school death metal influence was still a huge part of that records sound. With Dominion Of Misery they've pushed even further into Origin and Archspire style tech-death, and it's damn good stuff! While still leaving room for some old school death metal inspired parts at the same time.
