Imperial Triumphant bassist, keyboardist, and vocalist Steve Blanco is now streaming his experimental solo bass record Going To The Sun. Blanco leaves behind all the flashy techniques normally associated with solo instrumental performances, and instead focused more on crafting massive atmospheres throughout the record.
"Going To The Sun is the first in a series of new solo music projects," said Blanco. "Like many of us, I'm constantly working on channeling the mysteries of the universe. Music seems to be part of that mystery and the bass guitar is a great medium. Filthy, heavy, and dark with strong Sunn O))) vibes, it's just me, a bass and some pedals."
