Seattle-based heavy metal unit Dark Meditation is here to make your day both heavier and darker thanks to their new record Polluted Temples. Before you even hit play, the cover art should be pretty informative – this is gloomy trip with a riff-heavy soundtrack and earworms galore.
"Most of our songs deal with personal consequences of our actions and how it effects the world around us," said vocalist A.D. Vick about the album's lyrics. "But there is also the looming specter of evangelical Christianity that I was brought up in and trying to break away from the dogmatic concepts that were pushed upon me in childhood."
