Oh man, is anyone even remotely surprised that Devin Townsend's new project Casualties of Cool is awesome? It reminds me of Ki and Ghost at the same time with a whole lot of added spaciness and guitar-laden goodness. Here's the first released track, "Moon."
The track also features Jørgen Munkeby of Shining crushing it on saxophone, and not in the insane way he does with Marty Friedman or his own band- it's a very melodic solo that fits the track oh so well. The bottom line is you need to go grab the album like, yesterday, because it rules.
