FACES OF THE BOG Drops "Drifter In The Abyss," Proves Just How Underrated A Band It Is

Right off the bat, let's be grateful we're talking about a sludge band that doesn't have the word "witch" in it, because that's getting really old. Faces Of The Bog hails from Chicago, IL, and has a criminally small following, though to be the fair the band doesn't have  debut album yet. With the latter changing on October 4 via the band's own independent release, I genuinely hope the former changes as well!

Faces Of The Bog is premiering a new song through us called "Drifter In The Abyss" today, and just like the band's name, the music stands out amongst its frankly sub-par peers. The song is written well, doesn't rely on falling back on drone to remain interesting, and has some seriously excellent production.

The album was recorded at Electrical Audio in Chicago and produced by Sanford Parker (Corrections House, ex-Minsk, ex-Twilight).
