Gene Hoglan's upcoming DVD "The Atomic Clock: The Clock Strikes II" might as well be titled "Gene Hoglan Is Way Better Than You. Check This Out," because that's the vibe I'm getting from this trailer. The man is not human.
Gene Hoglan has drummed for bands like Dethklok, Dark Angel, ex-Death, Testament, Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, and pretty much everyone else ever. Why? Becuase everyone wants his because he's insane… like, insane enough to earn the name "The Atomic Clock." Gene Hoglan is pretty much his own ProTool rig in terms of fixing mistakes. Mainly because he doesn't make mistakes. Go ahead and check out all the pre-order options for his upcoming DVD on his site, which unfortunately does not give a release date. Even if you're not a drummer I'd say check the DVD out just once to see what ridiculous musicianship looks like!
