Let's be honest here for a second. The only questionable decision Iron Maiden ever made was the cover art for 2003's Dance of Death. Outside that, the band has been flawlessly fantastic for its entire career and wouldn't you know it, this new song doesn't break that streak.
"Speed Of Light" is a hard rocking anthem that feels like a throwback to the band's sound during the early and mid 1980s, though the main difference is the seeming absence of its usual twin guitar harmonies. On the flip side of that, The Book Of Souls is going to be 92-minutes long, so we've got plenty of time for variety.
Anyway, here's the song you'll be blasting all day.
