Scion A/V has done it again. They have just released another sweet EP from another killer band. Arsis gets the free EP treatment this time around, putting out Lepers Caress, and it's crushing.
This is the first release from the band since 2010's Starve For The Devil and it's a great return to form from the band. This EP was actually recorded after they completed a new full-length, Unwelcome which will be out next year. Bassist Noah Martin commented:
"The EP was put together quickly after we finished Unwelcome. It gave us the opportunity to offer a brief statement of where our heads are at the moment. We revisited some of the oldest material in the Arsis catalog as well as re-tracked a song off the upcoming full-length. Expect more three and four-part writing, thrash and blasts, and a string quartet arranged for a full band."
