New Demos From ARISIS & DANZA? Yes, Please!

Two bands who sound very very different, but both of whom I really appreciate released some demos recently, and they are Arsis and the Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza. Let's take a listen, shall we?

First up, Arsis hits us hard with a new demo they've been working on. The band have not reinvented the wheel or changed their formula, it sounds exactly like what you would expect Arsis to sound like. That's not to say they aren't great. The solo sounds great, the riffs sound top notch, everything is awesome. Here is what frontman James Malone had to say about this:

We are indeed writing a new ARSIS album and we want to offer everybody a glimpse into the music that we’ve been building for the last few months. This is a demo of a new one called ‘Since the Shadows’ and it’s from the first batch of songs for the album. It’s still early but a musical direction has emerged from the work so far and we think it speaks for itself without any grand pronouncements, so enjoy it and we will see you on the FIREWIND tour this fall!

Next, Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza guitarist Josh Travis has posted two demos on his own Soundcloud page and it doesn't take a genius to figure out these are for the new Danza record. These riffs sound crunchy and delicious. Here they are…

Could we see new music from these bands in the coming year? I would not be surprised nor would I be disappointed.
