At first it seemed like a strange choice that Darkest Hour would sign with Southern Lord, but given the absolutely disgusting heaviness of the new material from the band's forthcoming album Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora, it makes perfect sense.
For example, take a listen to the band's new song "Those Who Survived." The song is just a nonstop barrage of groove and crushing heaviness, which all together makes sense as to why it was titled that way.
