Cut Up, featuring ex-Vomitory drummer Tobias Gustafsson and vocalist/bassist Erik Rundqvist, vocalist/guitarist Andreas Björnson of Fetus Stench and ex-Coldworker Anders Bertilsson, is your new favorite Swedish death metal band. Cut Up is exactly what would have happened if modern production went back in time and got a hold of bands like Entombed and Dismember, toned up the classic buzzsaw guitar sound a little bit and added a lot more low end to the whole thing.
Not that I don't love the classics, but this modern approach kills! Check out two of the band's new songs, "A Butchery Improved" and "Burial Time," of its upcoming record Forensic Nightmare due out June 30 via Metal Blade Records.
