With (about to be) ten albums under their belt, a handful of EPs, and all the heaviness you can handle, Cathedral are going to make their upcoming album The Last Spire the last of their career and "Tower of Silence" their last single before the album drops on April 30th (29th internationally). At first, "Tower of Silence" seemed like a repetitive borefest, but it grows on you quick and latches on your ears like no other doom song I've heard in a while. It's simplistically bombastic with a serious punch; a great way to get everyone interested in the last thing you plan on doing. So go ahead- crank this up to 11 and order yourself a copy on Metal Blade's site! It's the last time you can get psyched about new Cathedral.
