Born of Osiris have been teasing the crap out of their new material for the past few months (more tease!), but now we get to hear some of it. Fun fact- it's really good.

The new song embraces a little more of a "techno" kinda feel in the intro, which is cool, before exploding into something that could've been right off The New Reign. Whoever said Born of Osiris were done after Jason Richardson left the band obviously don't know anything about anything, because this is sick. The teaser's the band put out sound way more technical than this, so I'm willing to bet this is going to be a single due to the "bounce" kind of feel to it. Kids love that shit! Plus, Lee McKinney is really, really good at guitar. We all knew the dude was good… but damn. Also, who's filling in the second guitar spot here? Did they ever make that announcement?
Oh, and then there's this image posted on Sumerian's page, which announces new Born of Osiris to be coming out August 20:
UPDATE: The band posted studio version of their new song:

Hey look! Born of Osiris released that song above, but a studio version! Guitarist Lee McKinney said:
We couldn't be more excited to not only have a new record coming out this summer, but to have a new single available in time for the start of Mayhem Fest! 'M∆CHINE' to me is just a straight up in your face BORN OF OSIRIS song. It's got an epic intro, intense orchestral content, heavy keyboard breakdowns, a great structure, impactful vocals and of course some gnarly guitar shred. It definitely hits hard from beginning to end. We can't wait to head out and play it live all summer long.
Get fucking excited!
