But now that the band has been around for a few years and built a substantial fan base, it's time to take it to the next level. So they ditched the makeup and guy-liner and teamed up with a guy known for taking bands like Motley Crue and Metallica to the next level (and some might argue, to an eventual unlistenable level).
BVB will unleash their new Bob Rock-produced self-titled album on October 28th. Today, they released the first single off the album and while I'm not going to be rushing to the store to buy this album, this is the first BVB song I've ever been able to tolerate the whole way through. It's a solid rock track:
The chorus almost sounds like a power metal song, minus all the speedy solos. But it's a pretty catchy tune, I must admit.
