Guitarist and vocalist Kelly Shaefer of progressive death metal legends Atheist is working on some new riffs during quarantine. Shaefer took to the Atheist Facebook page to post 38 seconds of a killer new riff, saying in a comment "This is just me (kelly)at my home writing riffs. Using loops for demo use ?."
It's been 10 years since Atheist released their album Jupiter, which was the band's first since 1993's Elements.
