ARCH ENEMY Frontwoman Plays America's First Female Serial Killer In A New Series

History is metal, as you'll come to find out.

Arch Enemy frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz will be playing American's first female serial killer, Lavinia Fisher, in a new music video series from American Murder Song. The project is one that composes ballads of murders set in the nineteenth century America, complete with videos that go along with the historical recountings.

Fisher was alive between 1793 and 1820, and factual accounts of her murders are pretty tough to come by. According to the Wikipedia article on Fisher, her and her husband John owned an inn called the Six Mile Wayfarer House in Charleston, South Carolina, where she would figure out how much money men had and then send the wealthy ones up to their rooms with poisoned tea. History isn't clear if the tea killed them or if it knocked them out and then Fisher killed them… either way, that's still some serial killer shit.
