Back in October, Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford promised he'd be "on the side of the stage.. banging my head like a maniac" for Pantera at the Hell & Heaven Metal Festival. While no video has surfaced of that just yet, Halford did post himself having a blast as Pantera played "5 Minutes Alone" on December 15 at Vibra in São Paulo, Brazil. Also, special shout out to Halford for a very solid beard-and-glasses look these days.
On the topic of the Pantera shows, Halford said in the aforementioned interview "Man, this is important — it's important. And [vocalist Phil Anselmo's] voice is the voice of Pantera. What [bassist Rex Brown, who was not present at the December 15 show thanks to COVID] does is as important. So, what's not to love about this really special moment that we're all gonna go nuts [for]?"
