Of all the bands I could classify as apocalyptic, Anaal Nathrakh is the one most deserving. The band's music straight up sounds like what I'd imagine the last thing you'd ever hear right before fire erupted from every chasm on Earth and the whole thing imploded upon itself and you drown in the boiling blood of the rest of the dead. Something like that, anyway.
Now to follow up its 2016 masterpiece The Whole Of The Law, by far one of the best albums they've ever done, Anaal Nathrakh has announced they're in the studio. They've posted a few video teasers which don't give away much, though it's safe to say this coming album is probably going to be at least on par with the above description.
