I guess I never got the memo until now that early Ministry had a synthpop past, but here it is in it's shiny glory. Yesterday, Al Jourgensen released a track that we never heard before from the industrial metal group that sounded like it was straight out of an 80s teen movie.
Slicing Up Eyeballs (great name for a site) reports the track, titled "Anything For You" was recording during the With Sympathy era, an album that I am currently blasting on Spotify, because I am a Ministry poser and had no idea about their early synthpop days. You've never heard Uncle Al like this, affected British singing accent and all. Anyway, here's the incredibly catchy tune:

Ministry will be hitting the road next year. No word on if they'll be pulling out some of the synthpop out of their repertoire, but if they do, they should definitely play this track:
