The MetalSucks / Metal Injection / 1000Knives showcase was completely sold out this past Thursday, and we couldn't have had a better time. All the bands did exceptionally, and Pig Destroyer caused possible permanent hearing damage to our ears. We have no idea how we will top ourselves next year, but while we consider it, let us bask in the afterglow with all this phenomenal new content we just posted today.
First off, live video. Everybody loves a little live video, and we have plenty of it. Videographer Frank Huang taped all the bands this past Thursday, and has posted a full set from both Pig Destroyer and KEN Mode, as well as select tracks from Early Graves and Encrust. Additionally, a of photos from the event shot by Maclyn Bean can be viewed in our photo gallery.
If that isn't enough Pig Destroyer for you, videographer Nick Martin attended the Baltimore show the next night and shot virtually their entire set there as well. The special thing about this show was that the band was joined by Katherine Katz, who guests on their new album Book Burner and she even took over at one point on vocal duties.
