The 82-year-old former pilot went viral with his cover of Drowning Pool on America's Got Talent, and joined the band on stage at Chicago Open Air fest.

You might recall a clip from America's Got Talent last month where 82-year-old John Hetlinger, a former Navy pilot, screamed his heart out (figuratively) while performing "Bodies" to the utter shock and amazement of the judges. Turns out, the band was pretty impressed themselves, and offered to fly out John to their performance at the big Chicago Open Air festival, which took place this past weekend (July 15-17th).

Well, John couldn't pass up an invitation to rock out and showed up and naturally screamed like there was no tomorrow (again, figuratively) while on stage with the band. Here is some footage:

No word yet on if Hetlinger is fielding any label offers.

Update: Hetlinger joined the band once more the following night at the Ink In The Clink festival in Mansfield, Ohio. Here's some footage:
