HBO Max made the decision earlier this year that all the WarnerMedia movies that were scheduled for theatrical release, would also see a same-day release on HBOMax for 30 days. One of the most metal of their upcoming movies is the upcoming Mortal Kombat remake.
Growing up in the 90s, it was impossible to escape Mortal Kombat-mania, and it seems like just the right time to bring it back.
