The apex of Rob Zombie film-making has to be his 2005 movie The Devil's Rejects. The film was a spinoff of his directorial debut, House of 1,000 Corpses, which was also awesome, but I feel like Zombie found his stride in the second film.
Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) and Otis (Bill Moseley) might be coming back to the big screen as Bloody-Disgusting has confirmed that Zombie is working on a sequel to the 2005 film.
There are no details at the moment, and Bloody-Disgusting theorizes that since the final scene of the movie (spoiler alert for a 12 year old movie) features the main three cast members in a wild shoot out, that the new film might be a spin-off instead, or perhaps a prequel.
Zombie has been teasing the movie for over a year now, so his brain has been clearly cooking up some ideas. We'll keep you posted with any new developments.
