Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, better known as the creative force behind Nine Inch Nails, have been scoring quite a few movies together in recent years. Their collective résumé includes Gone Girl, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Social Network, and now Jonah Hill's directorial debut Mid90s.
Mid90s is due to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and will be out in theaters October 19. The synopsis of the film is:
"Written and directed by Jonah Hill, Mid90s follows Stevie, a thirteen-year-old in 90s-era LA who spends his summer navigating between his troubled home life and a group of new friends that he meets at a Motor Avenue skate shop."
It looks like a modern take on the 90s classic Kids. Check out a trailer below.
