It's arguable, but I would say Thor is the most metal of the superheros in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (and probably in the DC one as well). I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was to hear Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" in the last Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok.
If you somehow never saw this epic scene:

Just hearing "Immigrant Song" blasting on the movie theater sound system got me so hyped. It looks like writer/director Taika Waititi will continue the hard rock tradition in the next Thor film, Thor: Love and Thunder.
According to a recent interview with Wendy Dio, the folks at Disney reached out to her to license "Rainbow In The Dark" for the fourth Thor film in the franchise. No word on how the Dio song will be used – will there be an epic fight scene? We'll have to wait until November 5, 2021, when the movie is released to find out.
How do you think Dio should be used in the next Thor film?
