Bill & Ted are trying to get away from Christopher Nolan. Shortly after announcing they would be releasing their movie on Labor Day weekend, the Christopher Nolan blockbuster, Tenet, also announced it would be coming out that weekend. Rather than compete with a huge blockbuster, Bill & Ted producers decided to move up the release one week – it will now be released on August 28, 2020. It will be released in limited theaters and on VOD.
