Samsung is set to debut their "smart guitar" ZamStar this week at CES 2022. According to Samsung, the guitar features a custom LED fretboard that guides players on what they're playing, as well as an accompanying app that offers an "online jamming platform not only for skilled musicians but also beginners."
Overall it seems like a pretty cool idea that offers a lot to players across the board, though I guess we'll find out more soon.
According to the video on Samsung's website, the "key problem is that it takes too long to practice music skills and becomes easier to lose interest while playing alone. The smart guitar ZamString and online jamming platform ZamStar that can solve this problem."
CES 2022 takes place between January 5 and 8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Learn a little more about the guitar here.
