If you haven't heard Vein's debut full-length album errorzone then you're missing out big time. It's melodic, it's intense, it's dissonant and it just brings the crushing hardcore heaviness overall. Though that's not just me saying that – Mike Portnoy (Metal Allegiance, Sons Of Apollo, ex-Dream Theater) thinks so too. So much so that he says it's the "most intense, brutal 28 minutes since Reign In Blood." So depending on what your opinion on Reign In Blood is, is Portnoy right?
Which isn't surprising, especially if you used to be a member of Portnoy's forum. Dude was always rattling off awesome and pretty unexpected stuff to check out.
This album is completely OWNING me these days!! The most intense, brutal 28 minutes since Reign In Blood…fuxking A!!!
Thanks to @MaxPortnoy_ for turning me onto this insane album and band @VEINBAND ? pic.twitter.com/Xz8LvQhs2O— Mike Portnoy ? (@MikePortnoy) August 24, 2018
