Welcome To The New METAL INJECTION

Posted by on January 1, 2014 at 8:04 pm

Today, January 1st, 2014, marks the tenth anniversary of the launch of Metal Injection. We were such young whipper snappers way back in 2004, and we're so proud of how far we've come in the decade that followed and thankful that you, the Metal Injection junkie, stuck with us throughout those years.

We decided for our tenth anniversary to re-launch the site with a brand new logo and new design. The site has been completely re-written from the ground up, and we collaborated with the fine people at The Aardvark Brigade to bring you this new, cleaner, brighter layout.

Also, we felt it was time to say goodbye to our old logo, and introduce something new that would push our brand forward. We are really happy with what Aardvark came up with for our new logo design, and we hope you like it as well.

Your feedback is very important to us. Let us know what you think of the new design in the comments.

One of the major design changes is our site is now "responsive," meaning that it will adapt to your browser width. Viewing our site on a mobile phone, a tablet or a desktop computer will bring you differing experiences to better optimize your stay.

Also, you may notice things got brighter around here. In an effort to help increase the blog's readability, we have switched to a lighter layout, to make it easier on your eyes when reading about the latest news, tour dates and reviews.

Here's a welcome message from us to you:

We have a lot of great plans for our tenth anniversary, so stick with us throughout the year as we unveil cool features, videos and events.

Also, we thought it'd be fun to look back at our site's history of designs, from the beginning to today…
