In June we teamed up with Gear Gods, Metal Injection, Dunlop and eOne Music to bring you a sweet guitar solo competition from High On Fire. The rules were simple: download the backing track for the High on Fire song “The Black Plot” — from their new album Luminiferous, out now via eOne — record yourself playing the solo, then upload your track to our contest Soundcloud group. Then Matt Pike himself would listen to all the entries and choose his favorite.
