Today, August 24th, 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of Corey Taylor's first show with Slipknot. Back then, the band were playing tiny clubs in Iowa, until two years later, they broke through on Ozzfest '99.
MFKR1.com, a site dedicated to the Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.-era of the band, has uploaded the entire concert, and it's fascinating to see the differences. Most everybody but Clown's masks are virtually unrecognizable, and the band is playing a much rougher, more aggressive style. Crazy to think how far they've come in the 20 years since.
