Back in May 2016, we posted some Royal Thunder studio teasers and were hopeful that we'd get a new album that year. Obviously that didn't happen, though now we've finally got a date at which we'll be able to grab the new album – April 7.
Royal Thunder will be dropping Wick via Spinefarm Records, and the band says it's a "different, a bigger jump as far as our sound goes. But it’s still us — it’s just the sound of Royal Thunder’s evolution." Frontwoman Mlny Parsonz also has some tough love to share about the album, stating it wasn't easy to make.
“Out of all of the albums, WICK was the hardest one to make. It was a fight, but to hear it now, to see it finished, is so gratifying. Finally, it’s over, it’s amazing to be done with it. I’m looking at it, going, ‘We’re done, it’s over, be free,'”
Wick is 12 tracks long, and honestly, we're stoked to hear all of them.
