Ever since I got the new Deftones record, Diamond Eyes, it has been in constant daily rotation for me. The album surprised me with all the heavy it brought. At some points, they even channel Meshuggah for some sweet off-time breakdowns, which I just uncontrollably head bang to. The band is embracing the internet in a big way to promote the album. They released a series of behind the scenes videos on their Youtube page. And, last night they streamed a free live concert on UStream. The archived footage has been posted, and it's definitely worth checking out. The performance starts about 14 minutes in. Hot tip: There is a marker in the timeline that you can jump to.
