Despite all the shit we give King 810, the band does admittedly live up to its reputation of caring about its hometown of Flint, MI. The band released a charity song for its town this year, and handed out free water anonymously (for a while) to its residents.
Now the band has announced its new album Le petite mort, or A Conversation With God, and released its new song "I Ain't Going Back Again." For what it's worth, I dig the chorus, but the underlying question here is this – does King 810 give a shit about being heavy anymore? Or will this next album be a more hip-hop oriented effort?
The album is due out September 16 via Roadrunner Records.
