Now that drum machine Alex Rüdinger isn't in The Faceless anymore, he's probably pretty bored. What band is truly up to the man's skills behind the kit? The answer is absolutely Revocation. Revocation drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne who is still recovering from a broken arm, and the band need a fill-in.
According to the most recent MetalSucks podcast, Rüdinger will be filling in for Dubois-Coyne on Revocation's upcoming tour with The Contortionist and Fallujah this spring. Rüdinger said during the podcast:
"I love The Contortionist, not only as a band, but as people; they’re homies, toured with the before. Fallujah, they were also on Summer Slaughter this year with The Faceless this past year, and I spent a lot of time with those guys. So yeah, I’m really excited, and I think Revo’s sick. I’ve been on tours that Revo’s been on twice before, and they’re hilarious. I’m looking forward to that experience, so that should be fun. But I do have some work cut out for me this month. I’m just starting now to learn their stuff."
In the words of Rick Moranis- "prepare [this tour] for ludicrous speed!"
Close enough.
