The AC/DC promo machine is out in full force. The band announced their new album Rock or Bust is coming in December, and they are doing a big promo push with Major League Baseball for their post-season games.
Their track "Play Ball" will be the official soundtrack to the games on TBS, which means every time TBS cuts to a commercial from the game, you will be hearing a snippet of the track. Every advertisement for games will include the track and guess what, some commercials have already surfaced. Here is about a minute and a half of the new song:
Part of me thinks it's so gross that AC/DC basically wrote a song to license to MLB but another part of me is commending them on their marketing genius. What better way to get their fanbase to know they have a new album coming out?
