Scottish solo project Saor, headed up by Andy Marshall, is back with a sweeping new single "Amidst The Ruins" and a new record of the same name due out February 7. The new record is five songs long and good news – all five of 'em are over eight minutes. So you better expect something truly epic.
Amidst The Ruins features additional vocals and instrumentation from Ella Zlotos, cello from Jo Quail and Samuel C. Ledesma, and violin from Àngela Moya Serrat. Amidst The Ruins was mixed by Chris Fielding and mastered by Tony Lindgren. Pre-orders for Amidst The Ruins are available here.
