Sick New World 2025 just got announced and there is a lot to unpack here. For starters, we've got headliners Metallica and Linkin Park – Metallica is surprising considering Sick New World's generally nü-leanings in the past, and I'm sure zero people are surprised by Linkin Park.
Then we've got Queens Of The Stone Age, Evanescence, Ministry and Refused continuing their farewells to the world, Glassjaw making their return to the stage again, and Cannibal Corpse thrown in for good measure.
Then on the reunion side we've got… hold the fucking phone. Acid Bath?! More information is absolutely needed on this one because an Acid Bath reunion has alwas seemed extremely unlikely. Sammy Duet has been busy with Goatwhore and original bassist and vocalist Audie Pitre passed away in 1997.
