The new Scale the Summit song reminds me of Animals as Leaders, but a little less shreddy. Think "CAFO" done on a harp- that kind of strange heavy.

See what I mean? It's not exactly heavy, but it isn't not heavy at the same time. The overall tonality of the song kinda reminds me a little of the newer Animals as Leaders record, which really can't be construed as anything but good. I guess Scale the Summit are learning how to write a song and leave the wank behind if I'm saying that? The Migration certainly has potential to be cool, as does all their records for that matter, but I still feel like it's the same tones and structures over and over again. How are you feeling this new jam?
