Canadian name-your-price record label Moshpit Tragedy just announced a new retrospective compilation from England's own elder statesmen of crust punk, Doom. The compilation is called 25 Years of Crust and features 15 tracks hand-picked by the band themselves, including a brand new track "Stripped, Whipped and Crucified" from Doom's upcoming album, Corrupt Fucking System.
Even if you're not a dreadlocked, anti-capitalist crust punk, you should still give this compilation a chance. Doom are, without a doubt, one of the most pissed off, relentlessly intense bands of the last 30 years – not to mention one of the most original. If you're interested in crust or extreme music at all, get this compilation. It's a solid trip through the band's back catalog and the new song is just as good as anything they released in the 80's and 90's. And, speaking of the new song, Doom will be releasing their aforementioned new album sometime later in 2013 on their own label Black Cloud Records.

If you can't be bothered to support great music and and great record label with a few dollars, maybe go back to listening to that boring Lamb of God album for the 100th time.
